Fire Erupts At Ohio Warehouse Full Of Propane, Oxygen

A major road was closed on Wednesday afternoon after a two-alarm fire erupted at a warehouse. Officials said sparks from equipment inside a woodshop started the fire at the Fabcon warehouse on Jackson Pike at about 3:45 p.m., NBC 4's John Ivanic reported. Investigators said the company manufactures concrete slabs. Initial reports were that the warehouse was full of oxygen and propane tanks. Officials said multiple alarms were called because of the flammable contents and the nearest water supply was 3,000 to 4,000 feet from the building. Firefighters were able to contain the fire shortly ater 4 p.m. by shuttling water to and from the scene. An employee was taken to Grant Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation.
