Firefighter, Resident Injured in Maryland Rowhouse Fire

The blaze began in the basement and spread to the first floor.

An Anne Arundel County firefighter suffered a minor injury during a rowhome fire in Brooklyn Park early Wednesday morning. The fire started around 3 a.m. in the 200 block of West Meadow Road. It started in the basement and spread to the first floor. One resident also suffered a minor injury. The firefighter and resident were taken to Harbor Hospital. The Red Cross has been contacted to assist displaced residents. Eleven people have been displaced.
