Charlotte Firefighters Make Rescue after Car Plunges Down Embankment

The extent of the person's injuries was not immediately known.

Firefighters rescued a person from a car which plunged down an embankment late Tuesday night in northeast Charlotte.

The car ran off Reagan Drive not far from Sugar Creek Road and I-85.

Firefighters used a ladder to rescue at least one person who was trapped inside the vehicle.

The extent of the person's injuries was not immediately known.
