Three Firefighters Hurt Battling Ohio Blazes

Authorities believe the fires were set.

Investigators said three firefighters were injured fighting fires in Dayton this week. Authorities believe that the fires were intentionally set.

On Tuesday night, firefighters battled a fire at a vacant duplex on North Holliway. Officials said one firefighter suffered a burn on his neck. Investigators said the found evidence of flammable liquids that were used to start the fire.

On Monday night, fire took over a vacant house on West Third Street near Plaza. Two firefighters were injured in that fire due to holes in the floor.

The firefighters injuries are not serious.
