Florida Firefighters Free Woman Trapped in Home

A 32-year-old Daytona Beach woman was trapped inside her own bedroom after a driver drove right through her apartment building.

Police said the 70-year-old woman drove through a unit at the Ridgecrest Apartments on South Nova Road.

Apparently, the woman accidentally put the car in reverse, hit the gas and then went backwards through a wall.

Firefighters had to clear all the debris of the victim's bedroom before she could get out.

Neither the woman in the apartment or the driver was hurt.
