DALLAS (AP) -- A five-alarm fire broke out Tuesday at a religious arts center, sending plumes of white smoke into the sky. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Smoke was pouring from the roof of the museum, and several firefighters were battling the blaze at The Biblical Arts Center.

The museum has an art gallery highlighted by the 124-foot-by-20-foot painting ''Miracle at Pentecost'' by Torger Thompson. The painting was shown several times a day, along with a sound and light show, according to the center's Web site.

There were no immediate damage reports at the center, which is located near a mall.

In 2003, the nonprofit, nondenominational center drew thousands to the exhibit ''From the Dead Sea Scrolls to the Forbidden Book,'' a $15 million collection of manuscripts and Bibles.
