ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- Firefighters say two firefighters were hurt battling a fire that ruined a house near Elkton.

It was reported about 5 p-m yesterday in the first block of Woodholme Way.

One firefighter suffered a head injury from a falling floor joist and another needed treatment for heat exhaustion.

The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Firefighters estimated the damage at 300- to 400-thousand dollars.
