A Massachusetts firefighter had to have his right leg amputated after it was crushed between two fire trucks during a blaze early Monday morning.

A Massachusetts firefighter had to have his right leg amputated after it was crushed between two fire trucks during a blaze early Monday morning.

Melrose, Mass. firefighter Neil F. Sullivan Jr., 34, was transported for surgery to Massachusetts General Hospital after the accident, which happened around 2:30 a.m. at a three-alarm house fire.
