Funeral Services Set for Philadelphia Teenager Killed in Accident with Fire Truck

Funeral services have been set for Terrence Allen Wilder Jr., 17, who was killed Friday when his car collided with a fire truck that had been racing to an alarm in West Philadelphia.

A recent graduate of Abington High School, he lived in South Philadelphia.

Friends may visit at 9 a.m. tomorrow at First Baptist Church of Paschall, 2114 S. 71st St. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.

The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. at 59th Street and Cedar Avenue. Mr. Wilder's car was crushed, and he was declared dead at the scene. Several other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident remained under investigation yesterday by the Police and Fire Departments.
