Woman Found Dead in Burning Chester, Connecticut House
CHESTER, Conn. (AP) -- An elderly woman was found dead in a burning house Wednesday night, authorities said.
State police called the death suspicious and were investigating because it was unclear how the fire started and how the woman died. An autopsy was planned.
The woman's name and age were not released.
The fire at the Winthrop Road home was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. Authorities said it was a small fire in a bathroom.
No other information was available.
