Fire investigators were trying to determine the cause of a fire that started in a garage at a Brentwood home Saturday night and caused an estimated $100,000 damage.

Fire investigators were trying to determine the cause of a fire that started in a garage at a Brentwood home Saturday night and caused an estimated $100,000 damage.

Two vehicles in the garage were severely damaged, but no people or pets were injured in the blaze reported at 8:19 p.m. at the house at 112 Rose Gate Ave., the Eastern Contra Costa Fire Protection District reported. Firefighters controlled the fire in 20 minutes.
