Man Dies in Iowa House Fire

CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) -- A man died early Friday after a house fire, officials said.

The fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. By the time fire crews arrived, flames were shooting out of the home, officials said.

Firefighters found the man inside the home. They pulled him out, but he died at the scene, authorities said.

A Coralville firefighter was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. No other details were immediately released.
