Maryland County Steps Up to Plate, Firefighter Safety

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service will become one of first departments to implement ambitious program.

Fire Chief Thomas Carr announced yesterday that the Montgomery County (Md.) Fire and Rescue Service will be among the first departments to fully incorporate a nationwide program to cut firefighter fatalities in half within ten years.
