BENTON, Tenn. (AP) -- A fire at the Lake Ocoee Inn Marina injured a man and damaged about 15 boats Monday, a Polk County Sheriff's Department dispatcher said.

The man's injuries were not considered life threatening, dispatcher Gary Verner said.

Firefighters contained the early afternoon blaze in the wooded recreation area about 8 miles southeast of Benton. Verner said firefighters responded from Polk and Bradley counties. He said the state fire marshal's office also was investigating.

A spokesman for the marina identified the injured man as a boatowner but declined to give his name. The marina spokesman, who also declined to identify himself, said the fire burned the ''oldest slip'' at the marina. He said there are about 180 slips.
