H.M. ``Sandy'' Johnson, the group's former director, and his daughter, Tisha J. Cole, were sentenced Wednesday by Washington County Judge Margaret Carey-McCray.
They each will spend three years in the Rankin County jail, and were sentenced to three years of probation and community service.
Johnson pleaded guilty last month to embezzling more than $56,000 from the association, a nonprofit fund-raiser for the 16-bed burn center, which is a part of Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
The facility is the only burn center in the state and the only comprehensive burn center between Galveston, Texas, and Augusta, Ga.
Cole, who kept the association's books, pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $27,000.
Both were ordered to repay the money. They reportedly stole the money between January 2001 and December 2002, and used some of the cash to gamble at a casino.
They faced up to 10 years in prison.
