Arizona Dorm Fire Forces 100 University Students To Evacuate

A candle left unattended inside a University of Arizona dorm room started a fire that forced the evacuation of more than 100 students.
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- A candle left unattended inside a University of Arizona dorm room started a fire that forced the evacuation of more than 100 students.

No injuries were reported.

The fire started Friday evening in a first-floor room of Kaibab-Huachuca Residence Hall.

A student left a candle burning atop a television, according to the Tucson Fire Department.

The fire caused about $1,000 damage.
