An emergency worker stands at the crash site of a Tri-State CareFlight helicopter that went down, Thursday, June 30, 2005, several miles northeast of Mancos Colo. in the San Juan National Forest killing three personnel aboard.
Montezuma County Coroner Charlie Rosenbaugh said the helicopter was preparing to land at the site of a logging accident when it crashed.
Tri-State Careflight, based in Bullhead, Ariz., has aircraft and crews stationed at the Durango airport and other airports in Arizona and New Mexico.
