Two Wyoming Firefighters Die in Blaze

Firefighters Robert Henderson, 39, and Jacob Cook, 23, were killed as a result of an explosion after entering the building.

Two firefighters died and three were injured Monday night in Evanston, Wyoming while searching for children in a burning home according to the Associated Press.

Firefighters Robert Henderson, 39, and Jacob Cook, 23, were killed as a result of an explosion after entering the building. Firefighters J.P. Cummings and Les Rex were injured in the explosion but were treated and released from Evanston Regional hospital. Another injured firefighter Abe Wheeler, 39, was flown to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and remains in stable condition according to the Evanston Volunteer Fire Department. According to KUTV the fire was reported around 3 p.m. in a complex of town homes on Evanston
