Firefighters battled a fire overnight that destroyed six second-floor units at a strip mall, authorities said.
The blaze began about 11:40 p.m. Thursday at a corner of Washington and Lincoln boulevards, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
It took 55 firefighters until about 12:30 a.m. Friday to knock down down the blaze, Culver City Fire Department Battalion Chief Richard Gallagher said.
No one was injured, Gallagher said.
The entire second floor, which included offices and a gym, was destroyed in the fire. The first floor received water damage, he said, adding that no other structures had been threatened.
The damages were not immediately known and the cause of the fire was under investigation, Gallagher said.
