    Injured FDNY Firefighter Leaves the Hospital Almost a Month After Bronx Blaze

    New York's bravest have good cause to smile this morning. Firefighter Jeffrey Cool is getting out of the hospital almost a month after he and five companions jumped from a burning apartment in the Bronx.

    The fire was caused by an overloaded extension cord that ignited a mattress. Investigators believe the apartments were illegally subdivided as well.
