HAMMONTON, N.J. (AP) -- Fire destroyed most of a warehouse containing T-shirts and other clothing Monday evening, police said.

The fire at the building on White Horse Pike owned by Yesterwear Productions of Winslow Township began shortly after 6 p.m., said Hammonton Police Sgt. Kevin Friel.

Two employees and the company's owner were at the warehouse at the time and reported the fire but were not injured, he said.

The blaze was mostly under control by 10:30 p.m., but the building had sustained extensive damage, Friel said.

``The building is probably a total loss,'' he said. ``A large portion of the building is down at this time.''

An investigation into the cause of the fire was under way.
