TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- An electrical fire at El Con Mall forced the evacuation of employees and caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, authorities said.

The fire started Friday in The Poster Warehouse, a picture and frame shop, according to Deputy Fire Chief Randy Ogden.

Ogden said the cause of the fire was an electrical problem in a ceiling fixture.

He said the fire set off two sprinkler heads that quickly confined it.

"Damage will be significant because of smoke and water,'' Ogden said.

Some of the shops adjacent to the fire may have been affected.
