A house fire in Utica, N.Y. leaves dozens of people homeless on Monday.

Firefighters spray water on the rear of two houses to protect them from a blaze at an adjacent structure Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, in Utica, N.Y. Dozens of people were left homeless, according to the American Red Cross, and one person was reported overcome by smoke.
