Indianapolis, IN -- On the Indianapolis south side flames were shooting out of a condominium complex under construction.

It's the Creekside Crossing Condos near County Line Road and US 31.

The fire had spread from the upper floor into the attic when firefighters got on the scene. Residents from a nearby apartment complex saw the fire and called for help.

Firefighters aren't sure exactly what started the blaze, but they have two thoughts, either lightning or propane tanks used to warm the drywall.

No one was injured in the fire.

Also overnight, there was a loud awakening for some residents in Avon.

An explosion at a home rustled people out of bed.

Firefighters arrived at the condominium on Creekwood Drive just after midnight. They had to rescue two people from a bedroom, one was unconscious and the other was awake.

Apparently a car exploded in a garage.

Firefighters took no chances and evacuated the entire building.
