Savannah, Georgia Fire Truck Crashes En Route To Emergency

Two fire trucks with their lights and sirens on were coming through the intersection on a red light when a van came speeding through on the green light, running right into the second fire truck.
Savannah firefighters on their way to an emergency call ended up in an accident themselves. It happened at the corner of Habersham and 63rd Street around 7 p.m.

Police say two fire trucks with their lights and sirens on were coming through the intersection on a red light when a van came speeding through on the green light, running right into the second fire truck. None of the firefighters were hurt; however, the driver of the van was taken to the hospital to be checked out for his injuries. He's being charged for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
