No one was injured in either blaze, officials said.
The first fire broke out around midnight in a building housing the Deadwood Tavern. Some upstairs apartments and nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution.
The fire was traced to a heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit in an alley behind the building, and was quickly extinguished, authorities said.
The second fire was reported about 2:45 a.m. in a three-story apartment building.
The fire started in an apartment on the first floor and extended to another unit on the second floor, officials said.
Firefighters opened up the interior walls and extinguished the fire.
Ten residents were evacuated, and no one was hurt. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
