Fire Hits Factory in Queens

A fourth-alarm fire shot flames through the roof of a plastics factory in the Hunters Point section of Queens Tuesday morning.

A fourth-alarm fire shot flames through the roof of a plastics factory in the Hunters Point section of Queens Tuesday morning.

The blaze is burning through the one-story factory located at 46-20 27th Street.

Eyewitness News is told that no firefighters have been injured, although they have to battle the blaze from outside the large factory.

The fire was not under control as of 9:45 a.m.
