Ferocious Two Alarm Queens, New York Fire Hits in Jackson Heights

NewsCopter 7 was on scene of a ferocious fire at 95-05 50th Ave at Junction Blvd in Jackson Heights Queens Monday afternoon.

The fire broke out just before 5:30pm and spread very quickly. It was a second alarm fire by the time crews could get on the scene.

Fire is said to have spread throughout the building, and there is word that at least one person was seriously injured.

At least 25 pieces of firefighting equipment and and at least 106 firefighters were battling the blaze as of 5:45pm.
