Deadly Fire In Eastern Kentucky

There's been a deadly fire in Eastern Kentucky. It happened Wednesday morning in the Hardshell community of Breathitt County. One person is dead.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the smoke was still rising and people were asking questions about what happened. Several emergency response teams arrived before six am Wednesday morning to find the home engulfed in flames.

Neighbors say they can't believe what happened, even though they can see the burned house.

The medical examiner is expected to arrive sometime Wednesday afternoon. Officials hope to have questions answered by the end of the week. The victim's name has not yet been released.
