Investigation Of Five-Alarm New Jersey Oil Refinery Fire Cause Will Take Some Time

Both a firefighter who suffered from heat exhaustion and an employee who was splashed with an unidentified liquid were treated and released, but the cause of the fire still is being investigated
WEST DEPTFORD TWP. -- A company official said Monday the investigation into the cause of a five-alarm fire at Sunoco Eagle Point oil refinery this past weekend will continue for several weeks.

Carol A. Sloan, public affairs and communications representative for Sunoco, said the fire investigation should take weeks, as investigators examine the equipment involved to determine what caused the blaze.
