A fire truck and an SUV crashed into each other at a Bronx intersection this morning leaving one person from the SUV clinging to life, cops and fire officials said.
A fire truck and an SUV crashed into each other at a Bronx intersection this morning leaving one person from the SUV clinging to life, cops and fire officials said.

The smash-up occurred at East 163rd Street and Intervale Avenue at 1:23 a.m. as the fire truck from Engine 94 on Seneca Avenue raced to a fire.

The unidentified victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital suffering from cardiac arrest, fire officials said.

v Cops said the victim was considered "likely to die" and the police Accident Investigation Squad was looking into the cause of the crash.

Five firefighters were taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
