Eight Injured From Chlorine Exposure At Laurel, Maryland Fitness Club

Firefighters allowed employees at three businesses to return to work following a chemical leak that injured eight and caused an earlier evacuation at the Laurel One Shopping Center.

Four people were sent to an area hospital with symptoms consistent with mild chlorine exposure while four others were treated at the center, according to the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department.
