New York Firefighter Suspended for Taking Pipe Bomb into Firehouse
The FDNY is coming down hard on one of its own, accused of mishandling a pipe bomb. A highly regarded captain at Engine Company 320 is in serious trouble.
At 10:30 last night firefighters were called to a residential block not far from the firehouse for a small fire in a trash can. They extinquished it without incident. That should have been the end of that, except a pipe bomb was discovered in a trash can.
