Former Kentucky Fire Chief Pleads Guilty To Meth Trafficking

A former assistant fire chief has pleaded guilty to charges connected with running a methamphetamine operation in his home.
OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) -- A former assistant fire chief has pleaded guilty to charges connected with running a methamphetamine operation in his home.

David Ralph Bohannon, 51, entered the plea in Daviess Circuit Court Thursday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He entered the plea in exchange for a five-year prison sentence.

Bohannon was arrested in September 2002 while serving as Owensboro's assistant fire chief. He resigned from the department after his arrest.
