Firefighters Still At Scene Of Kentucky Explosion

Firefighters are strying to put out the fire that started to burn Wednesday afternoon in the community of Bulan.

Emergency crews are still on the scene of a deadly natural gas explosion in Perry County.

Workers are strying to put out the fire that started to burn Wednesday afternoon in the community of Bulan.

Everyone was back on the scene early this morning to pitch in again and do their part to figure out what happened and what to do next. While some are keeping things in order at the command post, others are working alongside the fire.

Officials say they hope to have the well capped and the fire out sometime Thursday evening...so everyone can go back home the road can reopen. After the fire is out, other state officials will come in to investigate the cause of the explosion.

Authorities have identified the two men killed as 36-year-old Bill Chandler of Lost Creek in Perry county and 29-year-old Patrick Jeffers, who is from Tennessee.

The other victim, 37-year-old William Bell, also from Tennessee was last listed as critical at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
