GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- A fire in an Air Force base housing area early Wednesday damaged a garage and some vehicles, base officials said.
No one was hurt and no living quarters were damaged, a statement from the Grand Forks Air Force Base said.
The fire was reported about 4:30 a.m., and was quickly put out, the base said. Families who were temporarily evacuated were able to return home by 7 a.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
