Firefighters Contain Two-Alarm Weehawken, New Jersey Apartment Fire

Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire that broke out in a second-floor apartment in Weehawken yesterday, said North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Deputy Fire Chief Eric Inauen.

The fire was contained to the living room area of an apartment at 12 Liberty Place and appears to have started in an electrical outlet, Inauen said.
