Four Firefighters Injured In Oregon House Blaze; Roof Collapses

The fire started just after 8:00 p.m. at a home on Glacier Lilly Drive.

The owner of the home says fireworks were being shot off in the neighborhood and some of them landed on the roof, which started the blaze.

When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were shooting from the roof of the two-story home.

The four firefighters who were injured in the blaze were hurt when a portion of the roof collapsed.

Three Lake Oswego firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and one Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue firefighter was treated and released at the scene.

The fire caused an estimated $300,000 damage to the home, with the heaviest damage in the attic and roof areas, along with water damage throughout the second story of the home.
