Off-Duty South Carolina Firefighter Killed In Motorcycle Accident

Greenville firefighter Willie James Woods, 35, was riding his motorcycle on Pendleton Street at about 11:15 p.m. when he swerved to avoid a vehicle, police said. The bike then struck the curb and Woods was thrown from the bike into a building, police said.
