Bayonne, New Jersey Firefighters Respond To Cinnamon Spill

About three-quarters of a fractured 55-gallon drum of the cinnamon leaf oil leaked onto Pulaski Street and extended more than two blocks
Employees at a Bayonne shipping warehouse and its adjacent shipping agency huddled outside for a couple of hours yesterday morning when a cinnamon leaf oil spill caused an overwhelming odor - and an initial concern that toxic chemicals could have spilled, too.

Shortly after 10 a.m., the Bayonne Fire and Police departments, along with emergency medical personnel, were notified of the spill at AG Container on Pulaski Street and quickly rushed to the warehouse.
