Second Twin Dies from Virginia Fire Injuries

The twin sister of a boy who was killed in a house fire died from her injuries.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) -- The twin sister of a boy who was killed in a house fire died from her injuries.

Marquetta Blueford, 6, was burned over more than 90 percent of her body and died Saturday in the Shriner's Burn Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her twin, Marque, was trapped inside the family's home and died in the Thursday fire.

Two brothers survived the fire and a 12-year-old sister was also taken to Shriner's Burn Hospital. Savannah Blueford was listed in fair condition with third-degree burns on both arms. Their parents were not injured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
