At about 10:45 p.m., Sunday, December 12, 2004, units from the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department were alerted for a house fire in Seat Pleasant.

Firefighters arrived to find a working fire in the basement of this large 2-story single-family home. The basement has only one way in and one way out by way of an interior stairwell.
