The Glenview district fire required 27 firefighters, who had the blaze under control after 40 minutes. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
"There were three units where residents were displaced," Williams said, "but all occupants left the building because of a power outage."
The majority of the fire damage was in the living room area of an apartment on the fifth floor, Williams said, while two other apartments -- on the third and fourth floors -- were damaged by smoke and water.
Authorities are still determining the financial loss caused by the blaze
