SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) -- A 14-year-old Scottsbluff High School student was arrested for first-degree arson in a fire set last week at the school.
The fire was discovered in the girls' restroom at the high school. The latest estimates indicate $6,000 in damage was done, officials said.
The teenager was arrested yesterday Monday and was being held at the Scotts Bluff County Youth Detention Center.
An investigation by the school administration and information from students led to the arrest, Scottsbluff police said.
