KALISPELL (AP) -- A Kalispell man who suffered minor injuries in a reported gasoline attack recently was the subject of another fire call on Monday.
On Friday, Alvin Matthews, 35, said he answered a knock on his door and encountered a stranger who threw gasoline on him, lighted it and ran away. He was treated at a hospital for burns on his chest
Early Monday, firefighters responded to a report of a possible structure fire, only to learn the fire was in Matthews' car.
``Damage was extensive on the inside of the car,'' said F. Ray Ruffatto of the Kalispell Fire Department.
An investigation was continuing, but the fire didn't appear to be accidental, Ruffatto said.
