A 2-alarm fire in a senior housing complex Monday night sent one person to the hospital and left several people without homes.
CHELMSFORD, Mass. (AP) -- A 2-alarm fire in a senior housing complex Monday night sent one person to the hospital and left several people without homes.

An elderly resident of the Chelmsford Arms was taken to Lowell General Hospital for smoke inhalation, said Officer Frank Goode of the Chelmsford Fire Department. Approximately 25 residents were displaced, but no one else was hurt, he said.

The cause of the blaze was unknown and was under investigation.
