A fire that started in the Gaston, Indiana volunteer fire department Monday morning has temporarily put the fire department out of service.

A fire that started in the Gaston, Indiana volunteer fire department Monday morning has temporarily put the fire department out of service.

The fire is believed to have been caused by faulty wiring in the dash of a fire tanker that ignited a blaze which consumed the truck and severely damaged two other vehicles, according to Gaston Fire Chief Mike Delaney. No one was injured.
