MAURICE RIVER TWP. -- A volunteer firefighter charged with four counts of false public alarm for allegedly making fictitious 9-1-1 calls may face additional charges.

Officials also believe others may be involved.

"We are going to try to pursue charges at the municipal level," said Maurice River Township Emergency Management Coordinator Gordon Gross.

Gross said Daniel Busler, 23, of Leesburg, who was previously reported to be a volunteer with the Leesburg Delmont and Port Elizabeth fire companies, does not volunteer with Leesburg, although he responded to some of the fictitious calls.
