LONDON, Ohio (AP) -- The city's daily newspaper was being printed at another plant on Monday after a fire broke out in the press room over the weekend.
The fire at The Madison Press on Saturday night was mainly contained to the printing and advertising departments, Editor Gregg Rettig said. The newsroom was not damaged.
The 6,000-circulation newspaper was being printed at a Brown Publishing Co. plant in Tipp City, about 40 miles from London. Brown Publishing, based in suburban Cincinnati, bought the newspaper in June.
The cause of the fire had not been determined.
It's the second time The Madison Press has been damaged by fire. The newspaper burned to the ground in the 1960s.
