Indiana Firefighters Battle Early Morning Fire That Seriously Injuries One Man

Paramedics took a man to Wishard Hospital and he's in critical condition

An early morning fire sends at least one person to the hospital.

The blaze broke out around 5:30am Sunday inside a small apartment building on the city's northside at 20th Street and College Avenue. Firefighters were able to keep the fire to contained to one apartment and kept it from spreading to the other three apartments.

Paramedics took a man to Wishard Hospital and he's in critical condition. His name has not been released. Another person was slightly injured, but he was treated at the scene of the fire.

Arson investigators have been called to the scene to help look for what sparked the blaze.
